We do not know everything about human functioning. What we know and want to record now will be different in the future as our level of knowledge grows. A EHR must therefore be flexible in the information capture of healthcare data, but stable in terms of software code. The openEHR standard was conceived according to this principle and makes this possible. The mConsole EHR is designed according to this openEHR standard and can handle this flexibility in information capture, while the software code does not have to be modified. Something we are proud of.

If you record more information in care system A about an observation, for example, and you can send it via a communication standard, but there is no space in care system B to store this extra information, you still can't communicate from A to B. It is therefore important that providers use a standard for storing care data. We lead by example in this regard.
